Our Story - Where we Began
Hi, I’m Piyanki,
A watercolor botanical artist based in India. I was born and
raised in the City of Joy, Kolkata, and now live in New Delhi with my husband.
No matter where life has taken me, I’ve always found myself
returning to the same things—nature, paper, paint, and the simple joy of making
something by hand. Creativity has been part of my life since childhood. Long
before watercolor found me, I spent countless hours exploring embroidery,
crochet, knitting, and other handmade crafts.
Inspired by nature, traditional craftsmanship, and the
places I travel, my work celebrates the quiet beauty of everyday moments
through handcrafted design.
This studio is a reflection of everything I love—slow
creativity and the belief that handmade art has a special way of bringing
warmth, joy, and a personal touch into everyday life.
My hope is that every piece you bring home feels not just
beautiful, but meaningful, whether it’s a gift for someone special or a little
reminder to cherish life’s simple moments.
Our Vision
Our vision is to keep the tradition of handmade craftsmanship alive by creating pieces that are timeless rather than temporary.
As a small, artist-led studio, we believe in creating thoughtfully, producing in
small batches, and preserving the individuality of every design.
More than anything, we hope to build a community of people who cherish the
beauty of handmade objects and appreciates timeless design over passing trends.
Our Philosophy
We believe that handmade things carry something that machines never can—a story, a soul, and the unmistakable touch of the person who created them.
In a world that moves quickly and values perfection, we choose to slow down.
We choose to celebrate the beauty of brushstrokes that aren’t identical, textures that aren’t perfectly uniform, and the gentle imperfections that remind us a real person made them with care.
We hope to inspire a return to objects that are cherished rather than replaced, collected rather than consumed, and loved not because
they are perfect, but because they carry a story. In doing so, we hope to keep the tradition of handmade craftsmanship alive—one piece, one home, and one heart at a time.
Our Process
Every piece begins as an original watercolor painting crafted
slowly with artist-grade pigments, handmade papers, and time-honored tools.
Our inspiration is drawn from everyday life , timeless classics , nature and the discoveries made while wandering new places.
As a small, independent studio, each collection is produced in small batches, allowing us to preserve the integrity of the original artwork and the spirit behind it.
Many pieces are personalized and
even limited turning them into keepsakes that hold meaning beyond the moment.
